The Giants were one of the Empyrean Apostates formed from the ichor of the Deities. They were extremely large, humanoid beings. Over the reign of the Empyrean Apostates, this lineage proved to be ingenious in the crafts of engineering and warfare. In cases outside of these two fields, they generally shunned the use of magick.
This aversion proved to be their downfall when the wrath of the Deities befell them. Unequiped to combat their powerful sorcery, the Giants generally retreated from the world. To this day they hide as recluses in remote locations. Though their technology is generally too large for the likes of mortals to make use of, they are in the current day being reverse-engineered.
