The unicorn, believe it or not, comes from the same period as the Empyrean Apostates. Like the faerie, they helped the deities in their fight against the other Empyrean Apostates and other enemies to the divine. In the present day, they dwell within the deep wildernesses of the world. Within brambles and through shallow brooks they feel most at home. However, they may be found in any remote location. Deserts, jungles, tundra, or in open plains they may be found.
Most unicorns are good entities, occasionally helping mortals but generally keeping to themselves. Regardless, any being within the world may be corrupted. Should one be plagued by evil spirits, they themselves will attain a dark disposition. Through their magick powers and bulk they will wreak havoc and destruction among mortals. Sometimes divine help itself is needed to subdue such warped examples of their kind.
