In the rugged west and jungles of lands unknown, the ferocious velociraptor stalks the realm. Its feathers and claws are perhaps the most distinctive features of this creature. Though in less informed ages it was thought to hunt in packs, that detail of its ecology has now been lost to knowledge. They are solitary creatures, much like crocodiles, who go after prey smaller than themselves.
Exploration and development in the habitat of the velociraptors has rendered quite a few deceased due to their efforts. Hunting parties from the Abactor of Horrors have reduced the threat of the monster, and some specimens have even been sold off to unsavory folk hungering for a more dangerous guard dog.
